Jenny & Eamon's Redcastle Wedding

Welcome to the wedding photography coverage of Jenny & Eamon’s big day at the Redcastle Oceanfront Hotel in Donegal.

My day kicked off with the groom, Eamon, and his merry band of groomsmen who had just returned from Bespoke Barbering. What a morning! It was a barrel of laughs with these fine lads. They were like a bunch of overgrown kids getting ready for a fancy dress party, and the craic was flowing. Eamon and the guys definitely set the tone for the day with their craic. The boys looked class in their wedding suits supplied by Tomorrows.

Over in Jenny's corner, things were equally fun. The champagne was flowing and the craic was good. Her hair and makeup team of Aoife, Patricia & Tara worked their magic, and with no surprises, Jenny was a stunning vision.

But the true star of the show was Michael, Jenny and Eamon's little boy. He charmed everyone with his smiles and giggles. It's safe to say that Michael stole a few hearts.

How good does Jenny’s flowers look? Courtesy of, Flowers By Ian, they were beautiful and I do love getting a ring shot with them at my weddings. I also took a ring shot with Jenny’s stationary which was lovely. The lovely Karen McShane was responsible for these.

The ceremony took place in the stunning Saint Columb’s Church, nestled in the waterside. It was a beautiful backdrop for Jenny and Eamon's big day. I love this church and I wish I could have worked here more in my years of being a wedding photographer.

I always push to get the church photos after the ceremony done and at Jenny & Eamon’s wedding, they were a photographer's dream. The church is amazing inside and playing with light made for some of my all-time favourite images.

But what's a wedding without a bit of spectacle, right? Jenny & Eamon made their grand entrance at the Redcastle Hotel thanks to a spectacular helicopter arrival! Jenny and Eamon made a fly-by statement that left all their guests in awe. They had fun in the sky with their helicopter pilot, Derek. I’m kinda jealous I didn’t get up in the sky with them.

The drinks reception was a goldmine for candid shots of guests letting their hair down. Laughter, cocktails, and good craic flowed as freely as the champagne. You could see the fun in every guest's eyes.

Before the rain decided to join the party, we had a blast at the golf course for the bridal party shoot. The bridesmaids, groomsmen, and the newlyweds had fun before the rain arrived and we got some nice shots.

As the rain decided to play spoilsport, we retreated inside the Redcastle for the bride and groom portraits. This made for some romantic shots in the bridal suite and some other secret corners of the hotel.

The speeches were equal parts touching and hilarious. From heartfelt words of love to uproarious stories about the bride and groom, the speeches brought a tear to the eye and a stitch in the side from laughter.

Once the speeches were done, the dance floor came alive. The Collective Wedding Band had everyone busting their best moves, and even Jenny and Eamon had a few surprise tricks up their sleeves. The room was alive with energy.

To cap off the night, a spectacular fireworks display lit up the sky. It was a fitting end to a day filled with love, laughter, and a touch of the extraordinary. Guests cheered and clapped, and it felt like the whole world was celebrating Jenny and Eamon's love.

Jenny and Eamon's wedding day was a rollercoaster of emotions, from tears of joy to fits of laughter. It was a day that showcased their love, their spirit, and the incredible fun they have together. Everyone had an absolute blast, and I felt honoured to capture it all through my lens.

The love, the laughs, and the little surprises made this wedding one for the books. Cheers to Jenny and Eamon for a day we'll never forget!

Big shout out to all these fab suppliers that helped make Jenny & Eamon’s day run so well.
