The day started with groom preps & a visit to Mark’s home just outside Limavady for some pre-wedding preparations. I always love capturing these moments with the groom, his family and his groomsmen—it really helps ease the nerves for the groom and sets a relaxed tone for the day. Plus, it’s always great for the groom’s family to have those special memories documented. The morning was filled with laughter and anticipation, with plenty of candid moments that I knew would mean the world to Mark and his family.

After a fun morning with Mark and his crew, I made my way to Limavady to join Shannon and her bridal party for the bridal preps. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement, and the energy in the room was contagious. Shannon, surrounded by her closest friends and family, was so excited. We captured a mix of candid moments alongside some posed shots. Time flew by, and before we knew it, it was time to head to the ceremony.

Roe Valley Resort was the perfect backdrop for what was supposed to be a beautiful outdoor ceremony. For most of the morning, the weather held up, and it looked like we’d be able to have the ceremony in the gorgeous gardens. But as with all things Irish weather, things took a turn at the last minute. Thankfully, the fantastic team at Roe Valley Resort, led by Brian, pulled off a seamless transition, moving everything indoors in no time.
Despite the change in location, the ceremony was absolutely perfect. The intimate indoor setting felt cozy and romantic, and you’d never have guessed that it wasn’t the original plan.

Once Shannon and Mark had a chance to mingle with their guests, we moved on to the bridal party photos and family portraits. The laughter continued, and it was clear everyone was having a great time. The grounds of Roe Valley Resort provided a stunning backdrop for these moments, and we managed to steal away some fantastic candid shots throughout the afternoon.

As the evening approached, it was time for the speeches—always one of my favourite parts of the day. Judging by the reaction from the guests, they were a hit! Laughter echoed through the room, and it was the perfect way to wrap up what had been an unforgettable day.
